Joy Through Learning

This workshop will explore how to increase joy through gospel learning. We will discuss when, where and how gospel learning happens and how to increase the quality of our gospel learning. Group members will be asked to participate by sharing their experiences with gospel learning, both the challenges and successes they have experienced. The presenters will do the same and will share resources they have used to enhance their gospel learning.

ROBERT STarke

Joy Through Eternal Relationships

Join us to learn skills on how to build, maintain and
repair relationships.  Fundamental principles will be
taught that can be used with the family, with friends and ward members, as well as in the community.  You will learn about the "Behavior Loop", the "ERO Principle" and the "Groan Zone".

Joy Through Movement and Health

Finding joy through movement and food is a distinct
skill that can improve your relationship with food and
body. Our culture tells us to restrict, diet, and see food
as bad or threatening. Discover a new way to view food & exercise that supports health and joy. Learn about the concepts of attunement and body trust, and learn how to implement mindful eating with our chocolate tasting experience.

This workshop is led by Marisa Michael, a registered
dietitian of 23 years.

Timely Joy

Bryce Winkel spent over five years teaching time
management seminars in corporations located in the
Western US. This workshop will apply time-tested time management principles to the everyday lives of single adults. Topics will include: Can you actually manage time? Can you reduce stress? Can you bring your behavior in line with what you most value? Can you differentiate between urgent and important? Can you make life changes even when you are older? As
Benjamin Franklin said, “To love life is to love time.
Time is the stuff life is made of.”
